Story: This photo was taken in Taipei, Taiwan, where my family is from. Though Taipei is a bustling city, greenery is deeply valued. Most people keep dozens of potted plants both inside and outside their homes. I was drawn to this tree growing directly out of an old building, its roots wrapped tightly around the window. It felt like nature reclaiming its space.
